Hi They are suposed to be pretty instant.but the last few days they mine have been anything from instant to the following day. Mind you GR has been a problem for quite a few over the last few days anyhow, with Data Error messages etc. Glen

Hi Glan, I thought it was just me, sometimes when a pm comes into my messages on GR I don't know about it so always check my own e-mail. Just recently messages via GR are arriving a day later. Betty

Thinking about it,i wonder if the new 'search' option on GR has a bearing on it,the servers seem so slow, the error messages get more frequent, but the boards are very quiet. I wonder if the main activity on GR is headinfg towards searches of census etc. After all GR charge for searches, the boards are free of charge. Glen

I've had 2 PMs this evening. First one no email as yet (nearly 2 hours), the second one's email was almost instantly recieved! Last week one email took 3 days - so it's a bit hit and miss. Guess it depends on your internet providers servers. Anne in North London
