Hi Penelope, It pays not to put too much information in. I just searched on his First and Last Name and then looked through the results for the one that fitted the bill. Cheers, Horatia PS If you put City of London Regiment in it wouldn't have come up because it is down as London Regiment. PPS The Regiment Number is listed on the Medal Card and should come up in the search as it did for Edward Legg. However, some men had more than one regiment number. My father was in Norfolk Regiment, Rifle Brigade and Royal Engineers (all different numbers)!

Good Morning, I'm really struggling with the above title. I have used the site before looking for my great grandfathers medal card and found it successfully. I am trying to locate a medal card for my hubbys great grandfather now and failing, >On his daughters birth cert which arrived last week, born in October 1918 he was listed as Edward Albert Legg - street hawker Ex Pte, City of London Reg. But when I type in those details I can not locate anything. Could he of been in two Reg or am I doing something wrong? Many thanks for any help or advice given, Pen x x x
