The two lines are all his occupation it says: Justice of the peace, landed proprietor Farmer of 60(?) acres employing 8 labourers Anne

sorry helen its the reg district Thanks Anne very interesting I wondered where the daughters got their money from as my rellie was their Butler when they moved to Westminster thanks a lot.

Found him. It says 'justice of the peace' . The bit below that is (I think) 'magistrate & landed proprietor'. Under that, in wife's occup column it says 'farmer of 60 acres employer of 8 lab' nell

thanks a lot Nell sorry if I confused you I am tired tonight.The daughters had a house full of servants when they lived in Westminster I was wondering where the money came from Daddy must have left them very rich .
