Using Ancestry... and the Death search from 1984 onwards.... and using the online Obituary Archives from the Northern Echo website..(Online Death Archive goes from 2001 but very sketchy in places upto the modern) I have found loads of Obits from the paper.. with lots of info on their families in this way..
