Have you tried the 'Overseas collection on 1837online? I've found 2 or 3 of my lot on there. Having said that I'm still agonising about having to spend £30 each on 2 marriage entries that are at the British Library!!!!! Seems a bit exorbitant. Sylvia

My grandmother Ada Gunning. was born in India in 1913. I have her birth cert and her father is Robert Gunning & her mother Louisa Sharp. I found their marriage in Malta by chance. They married in 1903. His father was listed as Robert Gunning (deceased) a civil engineer. Robert Jnr was born 1875 in East India. I can't find anything on his birth. The GRO don't have it listed. I got his birth year on both his death age. (Died Q4 1952 aged 77) and his marriage age (Listed as 28 in March 1903). Any ideas other than the India Collection @ British Library?
