Am I right in thinking that you put in the name of what you are having trouble with, and GR automatically deleted it from your posting? Is it something that sounds like hot male? Or perhaps Ya Who? Kate.

Sorry, my original message looked like something out of 'Allo Allo' what with my typing so I edited it, and obviously left out the main bit! Is anyone having trouble with Yahoo tonight - is it a problem with their web site or is it something to do with my computer? thanks again Ronnie

Veronica GR decided, with its usual machiavellian cunning, to automatically delete anything anyone posts which has D O T C O M in it, in the hope this would stop us all dashing off to use other sites, other facilities, or send each other forbidden emails. But it also means you cannot post a word such as C O M M E R C I A L either, or anything else beginning with the three forbidden letters - good, innit? Most people easily get round this by putting asterisks or brackets round the two forbidden words - GR havent rumbled this yet! OC

Ronnie Thought it was just me. I've been going mad this evening checking my Firewall, done a scan and rung my son who only lives a couple of miles away. He says his is OK. Though I'd pressed the wrong key and done something drastic. Everything else is working fine....just the same problem as you. Feeling much better now!!. Hopefully, all will return as normal by the morning Jackie

I can't get into Bee Tee Yah to check my emails on the web; but they seem to arrive in my Outlook Express programme OK. They seem to be having a bit of a problem with their website (maintenance)? Don't worry your not the only one having trouble with Bee Tee Yah! ;-) Cheers, Horatia

OC - I don't think that this one is a case where C O M was removed from a posting; I believe that GR also looks out for Y A H O O (and H O T M A I L) in postings and removes them too, on the grounds that anything containing one of those words is likely to be an email address. Kate.
