If your system closed down unexpectedly, your settings will not have been saved.............I was asked for log-in etc when that happened to my system. Reg

I think they do it deliberately occasionally, just to make sure you are who you say you are, if you see what I mean.

have you deleted your cookies and/or tifs recently? this would cause you to have to sign in

occasional I do get asked to log in but ok to day jeanette

I know I, like others, is having problems with Broadband today, but why am I being asked to log in when I go on Ancestry and to give my password - normally I don't have to do that? Stella
