Why don't you go to the LMA yourself? It would be cheaper and more fun. Janice

Hi Merry Yes I have Sarah's will. She was the wife of Benjamin Pinchback from Bethnal Green. I am trying to ascertain if Jonathan & Benjamin were brothers. Both Tailors, both living in the same area of London. I also have a Joseph Pinchback, also a Tailor in Bethnal Green. I have found the baptisms of Benjamin & Joseph, they were the sons of a Jospeh Pinchback and Elizabeth Hammersley of the Atherstone/Mancetter area of Warwickshire. Joseph & Elizabeth came to London and had a daughter Mary. I just can't find Jonathan and George at all and I just don't know where to go from here. I am seriously thinking of paying for a search at the LMA - what do you think.......... Thank you, Jeanne

I spent all day Saturday at the Bancroft Road Library in London's East End. It was melting hot in this old Victorian building and the mico reader felt like an electric blanket!!! Jonathan Pinchback abt 1808 - 1812 must have been baptised somewhere. 1841 census says Middlesex 1851 census says Bethnal Green 1861 census says Bethnal Green 1871 census says Whitechapel He died in 1878 at the Bakers Row Infirmary, Mile End New Town. Can anyone help me with this please. Thank you, Jeanne
