Looking for a christening

I am having a problem looking for a member of my family I can't find her christening anywhere, but she got married in 1949, would you think that she would of had to of been christened to of got married in a Church of England? |

I was never christened but if I remember rightly the Vicar who married us said if one of us had been christened then he would marry us, but whether that was just his ideas or the general rule I dont know. |
