Do you know why I keep losing my Broadband connection it is happening more and more I am only on here for a minute sometimes I have been on to Tesco a few times first they said it was a problem in my area, then it was my Firewall, now they say it could be my Phone line.I am switching to Talktalk this week hopefully when they decide to send me my MAC code, hope thats okay |

hi Heather they said it would take 4 days but it still has not arrived and I am supposed to be getting Talktalk tomorrow, what happens if it doesnt come by then??? so annoying because I am changing my phone number at the same time and have told people the new one now, how is the PC |

Blimey that was a bit quick. Are you sure you arent just getting the phone line rental changed tomorrow? My line changed and it was about another 3 weeks or something before I got an email or letter saying the date my broadband would come on? Ring up Tescos and ask for it. Talktalk cant transfer you without it. And do cancel any standing orders to Tesco broadband. Orange whipped another month out of my account so I rang them and they repaid it. Cheek. They knew Id left them. Son still hasnt got his. He signed up about end of May I think. Theyve changed his line over but told him another couple of weeks for broadband to connect (lucky kid, he is getting it for nothing) |

Dont say I misunderstood what they said its going over to the them tomorrow hopefully but as the free Broadband is not available here yet I will have to pay £10 a month till September when it all goes live , then it will be free do you think I have it wrong then??? must go dinner is burning |

Dont know Val, did they say your phone line would be changing or your Broadband would be on. I mean I was one of the first so may be its changed now and you get both at same time. Give them a ring. I got the modem thing and all that about a week before I went on line and the disc thing you have to use. BTW with the modem thing, dont go through the performance of putting all new filters and stuff in that they send, I just unplugged the old wanadoo one and plug the lead back into the new talktalk one. Ive kept all wandoos wireless equipment, which I never used because they never explained to me how after many calls - just in case they ask for it back. |
