I have an ancestor born out of wedlock - she was given the father's surname as a middle name, so was named Ellen Wigglesworth Clarkson. She was born in 1895 and the birth was registered in the 2nd quarter at Tadcaster, Yorkshire. I cannot find her on the 1901 Census, but know she was still living as she emigrated to Australia in her 20s. Am curious to know where she was in 1901. Any help appreciated please. Stella |
