Thanks for adding this Jim, looks like a really interesting site. I was hoping to find mention of an ancestor of mine called Timothy Gibbons who family tradition has it was a village blacksmith turned highwayman who was eventually executed for his crimes. I have found some written evidence on the net to back this up but not the actual details of his trial or execution. It looks as though they are still adding to the site so I've saved it in 'favourites' and will keep popping back to check. Carolyn |

Am just browsing the 18th century lists and they use a word that we certainly wouldn't use today using the meaning they used back then. I won't say it but meaning is a child that has parents that aren't married. lol Nicola |
