I have purchased the above and am very pleased with it. I have a reference number for all my names, it makes life so much easier when so many have the same christian names. The problem is does FTM have a facility to see all the numbers? If so how do I view the list of names and reference numbers. I have found where to place the reference number on the 'Edit Individual dialog box'..............but where is the list? I do hope that some one can help. Gill

I ignore that bit. I dont find it very useful - the useful bit is the ref no. FTM puts on itself for source references which it then lists at the end of your internet family website or a report. Just re read and you want the refs - well you wont see them until you print a report or have a family home page. You can create a family home page very easily by just clicking on Internet tab on the program and then Create Home Page, it leads you through it and all you do is click next a few times and voila, you can tell everyone you have made a website. It looks very impressive when you go to the site and at the end are hundreds of ref nos for the sources. If you print a report - click on the icon at the top of the prog, then I should imagine your peeps will be numbered on that. If in doubt you can use the help tab to answer questions or as Glen tells us, use the online forum which also comes under the help tab I believe (and no doubt Glen will tell you if Im wrong!)

Gill, just a quick tip, when you create your home page and it does look impressive when you add photos and images of documents, you will be given an option to hide living persons - remember to tick that box.
