Hi All, Just got my husbands grandmothers birth cert.....and her father is not shown :( The mother was 19 and she married her husband 3 years later, he would have been 16 when the baby was born. What do I do now, do I carry on with the husbands line with a foot note that this line may not be right? I know that even if the father is shown that they are not always the 'real' father. What have any of you done in this situation? Comments please. best wishes. |

I have only one instance which is similar to yours.........I have put 'unknown' for the father........but have included the husband's line as he fathered children during the marriage. So he is 'connected' Reg |
