ancestry help please

can somebody help me every time i log on to ancestery i put my user name in then i enter my password then ancestry tell me they dont recognise it then i put the same password on change your password and confirm it then i get in to ancestry till the next time then it starts all over again what am i doing wrong i am fed up can any body help please eileen

Hi Don't think this will help, but I don't have to log into Ancestry - it seems to recognise me! Are you using a different computer to the one you registered with? This could explain it. Allie

Hi I`m the same as Allie. I never log off and it recognises me without me having to log in again. I do the same on Genes. I don`t know if you are supposed to do this or not but it doesn`t seem to do any harm. Sylvia.

Just a thought... maybe your security setting is too high and it isn't able to have a cookie for that site......

hi allie and sylvia thanks for the replies it used to recognise me then after i paid for another year it went of me computer has crashed out twice so i think i will try registering again if that doesnt work i will give it a kick then go to bed thanks again eileen
