I have Ann Harrison living with her daughter and son in law Sarah and Richard Woodcock in 1871 and 1881 in Hull. On one she is shown as born in 1796 in York, the other is 1794 in Leeds. I can't figure out where she was before on any other census. Any help appreciated. |

Do you know the name of Ann's husband / Sarah's father? It might help! Kate. |

As her daughter was born in Hull in 1832 according to the 71 census, mum Ann probably has lived there since then Linda |

As there are a few possibles for Ann, you would be best to get Sarah's marriage certificate to find out her (Sarah's) father's name. Kate. |

The 1861 is correct as they are living next door but one to John and Sarah Woodcock Linda |

Well, that certainly suggests it is the right couple, but if you want to be sure, get Sarah's marriage certificate. I have so many Rimmers, Marshalls etc. in my tree that I know this 'living next door' thing doesn't always mean anything! And Harrison is one of those popular surnames. Kate. |
