You won't get parents' names in 1820, but it may well prove that the witnesses are significant. |

Many thanks for the replies. Yes did know that old church st pancras was on igi, believe mary and sarah are katherines sisters. Was hoping the reg might give up katherines parents. Unfortunately my 'local' lds centre is no more. |

If you can get to a LDSC Family History Centre they will order the appropirate film of the St.Pancras records for you and you can then check out that the details are correct as some of the info on the site tends to be wrong in some instances. They do not charge a lot for this service and are also very helpful. |

Lynda Not sure if you realise............the IGI is online. It's on www.familysearch.org Forgive me if you know this, but your posting gives the impression that you don't. SARAH SAGE - International Genealogical Index Gender: Female Marriage: 21 OCT 1817 Old Church, Saint Pancras, London, England 3. WILLIAM STINTON SAGE - International Genealogical Index Gender: Male Marriage: 12 JUL 1830 Old Church, Saint Pancras, London, England Reg |

As you have the parish and exact date, it may be a good idea to put an entry onto the Records Office Board. If someone is going to the Metropolitan Archives they may be able to look it up for you and see if there is any more information. |

Hi Lynda. Yes, I think that they are on the IGI. My husband had some ancestors from that church around that time. The only problem is that you would only get the date and names from there. For any more details you would need to look at the parish register entries. I don't have much experience of London records but guess that they would be in the Metropolitan Archives? |
