My maidne name is Wyatt and wish they had more unusual christian names then I would be able to find the little blitters. I have one family of 11 boys and still not found all their familes. I've trawled enough for one night good night all Gwen

Not at all offended I pmsl when I found it. The whole family went in for wierd names. His mother was Augusta Sophia Lavinia Coleman. He also had a brother called Otho Illesley Wyatt who was unfortunately one of the first burials in the new Bedford cemetery which his father (who was only called James!) had caused to be built as town clerk. If it's a genuine Latin forename then it's male. Would end in 'uvia' if female. Sounds like a classics professor who called in for a swift half on the way to register the unfortunate child.
