Hi, I want to send a copy of a Descendent Tree on one of lines, via email, to someone that I have had contact with on this site. I didn't want to open my tree here to him beceause of all the problems people have had. Could anyone tell me the best way to do this? many thanks Lynn

Select the individual Click on tree charts select 'descendant tree' then right click, this brings a menu right click on 'export' and select adobe (pdf) save the pdf to a file on your pc You can then e-mail the adobe document as an attachment. Glen

The same method applies if you wanted to send any version of the tree, pedigree, ancestor or descendant. If you wanted to send a family report sheet, select the individual and repeat the steps i quoted, again the report is saved to pdf and can be sent as an attachment. I find those very good to compile and read,i tend to include birth and death references and census details, along with notes for occupations etc in the family reports. You can see at a glance what you do or don't know, and what you have or haven't reportod. If you have a homepage you can export the PDF reports/trees to your homepage too. Glen

Lynn You are too kind, and not totally correct. I just spend a good while on the online help centre,at least there you can print out the answers and follow things step by step. Glen

No, I have give 'Adam' from genealogy*com a real rollicking - he is useless - We can find no account with your name. I told him to google my name and he would find I had a website with them. Now he is asking if I know my password for the website - twit. Ill get there in the end, but its very annoying Glen.

Bookmarking this one. Can I suggest Glen and Heather split the commission. I will have to get some fridge magnets printed family tree experts wear bigger Knickers for all those 50p's.

That fridge magnet idea has been copyrighted by Heather and myself, sales are a little slow but watch for a marketing campaign soon! Heather did we agree the usual commission rate for those as well?

Well 50/50 on this one Glen as you showed a marked improvement in your business initiative. I guess I shall have to charge you fees for that too?
