Glen, Access to current land registries IS available online - £2 a document at the site Lunar posted earlier. I downloaded one this afternoon. Janice PS Won't help with 1901 though

To find out who was there in 1901, use the link on this site to access TNA version of the 1901. Click address search. Look up the address. When you have the results list, click the icon to the left of the address (it's a yellow rectangle, I forget what it's called).....the next screen will give you RG13 and then the piece, folio and page number for the address. You can use this to look it up on Ancestry, or get somone else on here to do that, if you don't have a sub. Merry

I wouldn't think so,access to current land registry entries isn't in the public domain ( i think anyway ) I did find out who bought a house in the late 90's,but i had to be v.sneaky and it cost me £50,(cheap when the divorce settlement got worked out though,i gained the £50 many times over.) Not something that i would recommend. Glen

Lunar had a thread which may help with land registry/title deed info.I'll nudge it if i can. Re the search in 1901,it can be done via ancestry, but it is a bit longwinded, easier via the 1901 site via pay per view. Glen
