Hi Victoria It may have been my thread on 5th July titled 'talking of loops'. Someone suggested Family Historian 3.00 software which showed connections as ribbons. Hope that helps Barbara

There was, within the last week I think, a thread about the best family tree programmes [and I remember one being mentioned that had a 'ribbon' arrangement to join up the same people appearing in two different guises]. Since I have 'done my dough' and thrown in my lot with FTM I didn't do much more than sigh. But, predictably, I was talking with someone today wanting advice on programmes!! I tried searching the threads but can't find it because I don't remember it's title. Can anyone help please? Victoria
