Well I have a man here but not a young one. He has decided he is so hot that he is taking the day off - he normally works on roofs and to be honest in this weather it would be asking for a stroke. So, got him, got hot dog, got 2 young men supposedly coming to lay hall carpet (long saga that one - now 3 months without carpets). And my bleedin FTM cant be accessed except through me googling my name. But that doesnt let me edit - SCREAM. |

I had a picture of you with a young man with rippling muscles, in your kitchen, who you go to for help! My male is hot because he is a chef & works in a hot kitchen, but we can all dream. Hope your problem can soon be sorted. Lynn :-) |

Hi Lynn, unfortunately GR wont allow us to type the right name for that particular email provider so we have to be a bit creative.:) |

Heather, if you've got a 'hot male', can't he sort the problem out for you? LOL Lynn ( whose hot male is at work) |

Heather Can you access the online help centre? If you can, then you can e-mail FTM help direct? Reading through the help topics,it looks like a problem recognising your e-mail addy linked to your homepage,or maybe a cookies problem.(boubtful though i would think) There is something about a membership number/user ID i found. If you need help just shout. I tend to think e-mailing ancestry is a non starter, the FTM help e-mail addy is a different addy altogether. Glen |

Just found this as well (grovel grovel) View My Home Page says I need to register: This is a carry-over message from older versions of Family Tree Maker. It tells us that Family Tree Maker is not connected to your online Genealogy.com profile. If you already have an existing Family Tree Maker homepage, registering will not resolve the problem. We need to look up the account that contains that homepage. Then we can send you instructions to link Family Tree Maker to that account. Any use? Glen |

Oh Mistress Heather is there any way to repay my wrong doing of recent weeks. Any of these things likely to help? (possibles from the help centre) Publishing seems successful, but the update never appears on the page 'View My Homepage' under the Internet menu tells me to register Username and password are rejected when I click 'Edit Your Page' E-mail Us With This Information Glen |

Reinstall your FTM and then reregister. I had to do this when mine went loopy. No probs since! Good Luck |

Now you do realise that if anyone can find the answer to your question there will be a hefty price to pay!!! Presumably you have had to reinstall the FTM - have you tried reregistering - under the HELP tab? |

Since my puter crashed and had a new hard drive a few days ago, my FTM2006 doesnt recognise me - wont let me access my home page through it and wont give me web search. I have emailed ancestry half a dozen times and get a nonsense reply - i.e. we have no indication you have a genealogy.com account. Does anyone know what to do to get my facilities back please. |
