Have you tried googling the name. I found a contact on ancestry world tree - no email, but I googled their name and they had a website which came up. I contacted them through that.

How irritating to find that link and then not be able to make contact with the person. It has happened to me too and I found it very frustrating. I suppose that some people posted their details quite a while ago and then perhaps lost interest.

I've had the same problem. Been seeing messages on many sites from the same person, obviously researching the same family and I'm not getting any response from them either.

Linda, A lot of people's email changes when they move to broadband. What are the details? You might be able to figure out the new address or Google their name. Rose

Just been on Ancestry and found a message mentioning my Great Great Grandfathers brother....Sent a email...just been bounced back to me......Same thing happened about a year ago. ...Someone wanted any information about Ellen Blewitt, she was my Great Aunt....sent an email,...bounced backed to me.....Why don't people update their email addresses???...............It's so frustrating...Linda
