Still need help needed with 1841 census

Trying to locate Peter Southey b 1821 Blackheath Kent. Have found him on the other census' , but not on the 1841 one. On the 1851 census he was living at 7 Bridge St, Homerton, Hackney, London with his wife Elizabeth b 1828 Enfield Middlesex [ sorry don't have have a maiden name ] and his daughter Anna Elizabeth b 1850 Homerton Middlesex. The only info I have on his parents are of his birth / christening info of IGI. George and Mary Southey. His brother is possibly George Edward Southey b 1819 St Alphage Kent |

Hi Lynda I had a pretty good look but was not able to find him either. It is not surprising as the original images for 1841 are so difficult to read in some cases, what with the flowery handwriting or the fading away of the writing on the page so you can barely see anything. The people doing the transcriptions really had their job cut out for them! In a few places they have just put a Christian name and when I looked I don't even know how they were able to make that out. Sorry I couldn't be of any help. Good luck. Maggie |
