Hot Matches why does it say New by the name of con

I was wondering by the name of some of my hot matches on a few it says New but they are people I am in touch with already , does it mean they have added new names since we were in contact with each other ???? thanks |

Yes Val, thats what it means, though you often find they have just resubmitted their tree so it comes up as new OR they have just added the ones from yours! |

and how true is that one of them has copied mine word for word , or is that name for name ,even though she didnt give me hardly anything GRRrrrrrrr |

It doesn't necessarily mean that they have added new names to their tree recently, because they can just be ones that have been there for ages but Hot Matches hasn't picked them up before because they begin with letters of the alphabet that it has only just got to. Kate. |

Though if you have been in contact with them before then you would probably have had those names already from them. Im so annoyed that every time I get hotmatches it contains about 5 people who have added my tree to theirs and given me one name in exchange! Ive just looked at mine and some who was in contact with me over a name beginning with D have whipped dozens of names off my tree which are so vaguely connected to them that they may as well be strangers and are onto J. Grrrrr. |

yes it is annoying isnt it , I get so mad sometimes I really dont mind at all sharing after all thats what this is about, but I do get mad when I give them the info and they promise to get back to me then I hear nothing else from them.I actually had some old photos of a married couple and was in contact with a relative of theirs , I asked if they would like copies of these photos which I duly sent, and then nothing no thanks and no word since.I would have been over the moon if that was me . |
