how do I find where Mary was living?

I don't see how you can. If she had stayed with the ''foster family'' until after the 1911 census then you would have to wait until 2012, but is she was only away from her mum between the census returns I don't know how you could do it? Do you think she was living with a family or in an institution? If the latter, then if you knew where there might be a chance, I suppose. Merry

bit of a long shot, but if you were able to find school records that would tell you an address and the adult, sorry I can;t think of what else to do - she'd be to young to be on the electoral role (and besides women didn;t get the vote till 1918 anyway) sorry!

can anybody help me on this,i got Mary woods birth certificate naming robert wood as her father and ann wood, formerly bligh as mother. Mary was born to them in nov 1901,but sadly robert wood died in 1903 aged 30, but in the following year, first quarter the same mary bligh married my granfather george fowles, and gave birth to my mother in 1904,now I know that they were half sisters because they had the same mother but Aunty Mary wood did not come to live with the her stepfather george fowles and mother mary bligh till about 1908,how do I find out who mary was with after her fathers death
