Hi i am just trying to do a quick search for my grandads wife. She would like her original birth certificate. Her name at birth is Susan Ogalvie but i have tried different ways of spelling it and am now going through all of the BMD. Do any of you have any ideas on how to spell this. She is unsure as to how spell it as she had her name changed when she was about 3 months old. Thanks Jen

I would spell it Ogilvie.

Hi Rose. She was called Susan Ogilvie?? she was born 7th October 1955/6. She had her name changed when she was adopted to Valarie Pears and is now called Valarie Clarke through marriage. She knows her birth mother lived in Scotwit and Val was born in Grantham Lincolnshire. Thanks Jen
