Just came across the following delightful family in Langley, Bucks on the 1901 census: A Man abt 1826 Langley Marish Buckinghamshire A Man abt 1869 Langley Marish Buckinghamshire A Woman abt 1879 N Langley Marish Buckinghamshire A Girl abt 1900 N Langley Marish Buckinghamshire The image says 'Only there for the night, gone in morning. Slept in empty house.' |

It's surprising what you find if you search the census for 'girl', 'boy' or 'NK'. |

You might find some of this family with the surname WISP and forename Will O. Alternatively, with apologies to Walter de la Mare: 'Is there anyone there?' said the Enumerator, knocking on the moonlit door. |
