I have a Dell 720 Printer and for some reason it won't print today, last night it was ok, message just comes up suggesting I check there is no obstruction. There is none, what can I do??. Betty

Have you tried restarting both the PC and the printer?

Hi, It's probably an usb lead connection to the printer so may be worth checking it has not become disconnected either end. Cheers Paul

Hi Judy, Thats the first thing I tried but it just came up with the same message each time. Shut down everything twice to see if it would start again, even check that it could move freely along, it does, don't know why I get this message, took ink cartridges out and replaced them again too, nothing still cuts out when you try to print. Just keeps say Cartridge Problem, I have taken them out and put new one in but nothing helps. Betty

Hi Teresa, I paid for an extended waranty with Dell for my computer, the printer came free when I bought the computer, so don't know if printer is still covered, will phone them and give it a try though, thank for your help and the information. Hope the are as good with me as i know nothing about the technical side of either my computer or the printer. Betty

Betty, Does it say print carriage stall? I also have a Dell which just packed up - keeps saying above message and clear obstruction, but there isn't one. Please post the outcome of your advice from Dell, then I can try the remedy too. (Am using another printer at the mo) Jay
