Pretty sure that Barnardoes operate a tracing scheme. Dont know the addy, but try googling, or doing a thread search on this board. OC

Kim Can you give me more info. There was a Barnados home here where I live. When did she come to Australia? Did she marry here? Do you know the names of her family? If you can give me more info I might be able to do some searching for you.

Do you know what part of Australia she lived, and the names of her family? I know there was a Barnodos home where I live.

Can't help directly, but it might be worth including ''Australia'' in your header, so people can pick it up on the search function after it moves off the front page. Christine

My aunt was shipped out to Australia when she was 15 years old from a Dr. Barnardos Home and I am trying to trace her husband and children ( she has died ). How do I go about this . I am SO sure one of you ' regulars ' knows the answer. Many Thanks
