Hello all!! I am not wanting to sound to blonde here but I have been trying to post a message in the trying to find message board. How do I do this? Thanks Michelle x

I think you post it in a thread for that particular surname and it also appears in the trying to find board.

No, there is another way, but GR make it as difficult as possible! You click on the 'Trying to Find' tab at the top, and it gives you two choices - click to go to 'Your Names' or type in a surname and click 'Search'. Then it comes up with the Trying to Find entries for that surname, and one of the tabs at the top is 'Find (surname)s'. When you click on that tab, it will finally allow you to add your message! Kate.

Michelle if you are trying to post a 'Trying To Find' message you must have the name in your tree, if you dont just tag the name onto any part of your family tree and after you have posted your message go back to your tree & delete the name. I hope this makes sense. Georgina.

Like I said before, you DON'T have to have the name in your tree, and if you don't you take the second option which I explained above. Honest! Kate.
