Download the gedcom to your desk top and then just double click on the tree. It will open itself into Family Tree. If you already have a tree and you want to combine the new one with the old use the 'Merge' under File. Make sure you make a duplicate copy of the original file in case you don't like the merged file. I download the IGI gedcoms all the time and never have a problem. |

Please help!!! How do I download a gedcom file directly onto the Famliy Tree Program . There is 65 pages so I dont fancy having to data enter them all .This poor old gran is stilling coming to terms with this Technology .Its a bit daunting but I am hooked so I cant stop!!!!!!!! Thanks in advance to all you helpful people, you seem to be able to assist each other a lot Colleen |
