Just to let you know, my wills ordered on 26th May, have arrived this morning (that's 7 weeks and 1 day) so anyone waiting for one knows roughly what to expect. Carolyn

This thread has just reminded me that I ordered 2 wills from York on the 26th May (that's 7 weeks ago) and I'm still waiting for them. I'll try to remember to let you know when they finally arrive so you can tell exactly how far behind they are! Carolyn

Evening all. I wrote to the postal searches office in York, mid June, for a copy of my grandfather's will (if there is one). My payment has been taken, but so far no further communication from them. Is this usual, has anyone else had dealings with the York Probate Sub-registry? Do I need to be a little more patient? any guidance would be much appreciated. many thanks Sandra
