I am writing this to let off steam. I am still waiting for a marriage that should have arrived last wednesday. This is a poor show, when they tell you on the phone that they are dispatching on time, and also they keep tell me that there postal arrangments have changed well we all know that it is sent there quality of service tumbling. So it does not take a rocket scientist to work out that they need to change it back and put there the customers first instead of there budget . Thank you listening I now feel better( well until tomorrows post arrive's) |

I have receieved a certificate today which was ordered online at the GRO website on 2 July. The stated despatch date is 11 July. The date of production of the certifciate was 6 July. I wonder why it takes a week from production to delivery. At least the information on the certificate was worth the fee!!!!! Pete |

I normally order by post on a friday (payday) and the certificate(s) turn up on the wednesday the week after next.So if i ordered a certificate in the morning it would arrive on the 26th July. It has been quicker sometimes but a week and a half is usually standard for me. |

At least some of you can order online which is cheaper to the tune of £1.50 a certificate! THEY DONT YET ACCEPT VISA ELECTRON cards which are often issued to those of us inless fortunate finacial circunmstances as visa delta cards are linked to cheque books which is a form of credit! My bank wont allow me a delta card evn though i dont want/needa cheque book and if there is no money in my account the transaction will fail. So whats the harm issuing me witha card? |

It appears to have gone haywire as I had one due despatch on 5th July, received it either 7th or 8th (I was away). Also received the one due despatch 28 June at the same time. Both sent TNT. Ann Glos |

Wakefield is brilliant if I post on Wednesday it's usually back by Friday or Saturday also if it's for family history it is usually photocopied. I called in on Tuesday and waited about 15 mins. I have always used the local register offices. Pontefract as well as The West Midlands. Eve |
