Ellen Willing and Blondeel Van Ceulebroeck were married twice. One registration in Westminster and one St george H Square. Any suggestions please? Jennie

Sorry, I missed that one. That seems logical as he was from Belgium. Pity he wasn't the same one who emigrated to US that I found yesterday! Would have tied things up neatly for a change. Jennie

It happens fairly infrequently but people do ,sometimes, marry twice. In the brides parish and again in the husbands but more likely one church one civil.

Have just discovered he married the same woman again in the US. He is also called a Count so perhaps it's different for them! Jennie

From what I can see she died the following July in Madrid-this is from a one world tree-must be something of a record. I should think the poor woman was never on dry land for more than a day or so. Jennie

That's the one! I think I will have to send for the marriage cert in UK-perhaps a count will make up for all the dressmakers in the family. Jennie

There's more and more of these people about. I started thinking that just one came to England. Already I have found 3 plus mum and dad. There were 11 children in that generation. Jim, if you find anything else perhaps you could let me know. there does seem to be a bit on Anc/com. Jennie

I have now googled that spelling as well. I always do Ceu... when I try, didn't think to try Cue... Seems like the only way to solve all this is a trip to Ghent. Thanks to everyone for their help. Jennie
