Hi - I recently did a £6 top up on the Scottish site and have 19 units remaining which have not expired yet. Does anyone know why I cannot use those units to view a page of marriage entries? When I click on 'View' it directs me to the page to top up with another £6. I don't understand...surely they don't expect me to top up again without having used up my first lot of units? I've used this site on and off for a while now but this is the first time I've had this problem - mainly because all my credits get used up on the day I purchase them LOL |

Athena you have run out of time to use your credits. You get 7 days to use your credits but when you buy 30 more credits your 19 credits will become active, so you have not lost them but you have to buy more to reactivate them. Georgina. |

Hi Athena, It's my understanding you should be able to use them once you have purchased additional credits - I certainly hope so I've got a few out of date I would like to use up at some point. Think you might need to contact them direct. Let us know how you get on. Snowdrops - Love the slant on your name!!!! |

Thanks Georgina/Snowdrops I didn't think the units had expired - but if it's 7 days to use them up then I think it probably has gone a few days over - silly me, I didn't realise! What a pain that you have to top up again just to view one page, though. I think they should give us longer time period to use them - they must be making a fortune out of us eager lot LOL Cheers |

Athena they used to give you 48 hours to use your credits so 7 days is a big improvement, but I agree with you they should give us longer, thats why I dont buy my credits until I need a few things looked up. Georgina. |
