Can anyone tell me if it is possible to print a copy of a birth or death certificate from scotlandspeople.? I keep getting blank pages. A really simple explanation of how to do this would be most appreciated Thanks

HI Annette, Hope this will help... When you've got the picture of the certificate/entry on the screen, click the print icon. This is the last icon at the top of the image. You may have to click set up in the little window that pops up, to change the orientation. If you go to the FAQ's tab at top of the page, it will give you a better desciption than I can explain!...I'm not too good at explaining!! Sue.

Sorry muscling in on the thread, but Gillian, could you please explain to me how to trim the black bits off the certs? My stepmother did tell me how, but stupidly I did not write it down and have forgotten! Many thanks Ellen.

If you have the image saved to your computer you can also get rid of the black edges with the 'Crop' function (under Edit Pictures) in Microsoft Office Picture Manager.

Thanks both, I'll give it a go at the weekend when I have more time. Cheers Ellen.
