hiya Lindy, if you goto, file and export file, (entire) this will allow you, to make a copy and store it in my documents, you shoud be able then, to send it via, mail or messenger, and import it back into FTM when it is installed on another machine. HTH Julie

I have FTM 2006 and I can export to acrobat (PDF) and then send as an attachment via email to other family members. I don't know about FTM 2005 but I'd assume they have something similar. Good luck Jd

I know you can do this Linda, but I don't know how. My son has done it with my tree on FTM2005, but I leave the technical stuff to him. Kath. x

could anyone tell me if i could exprt my ftm files by gedcom to another computer? my son lives in california and i would love him to see all the relatives in my ftm 2005 could i export what i have to his computer? thanks linda x x
