I was having problems seeing trees yesterday and asked my resident computer expert No 2 son and he went to our pop-up blocker and asked it to allow the genes site and that seemed to work. It means I can't do anything about those annoying bingo ads either - perhaps thats the idea. The other problem people have is that the shared tree is under the first name in the tree and for a woman that is usually her maiden name not the name you were expecting. |

My popups clearly aren't blocked, at least not all of them, but something is very wrong. I can't even do the search other peoples trees and just got bounced out the programme. Nature's way of telling me to go to work! |

It is wierd, because this chap has given someone the wrong surname, that of her presumed father. It's not the name she was married in, per the register and none of the rest of her family is on the tree. He then says that he cannot work out how her spouse is related to him, so he must have uploaded a gedcom with floating, unconnected individuals. Most peculiar. |

Not yet, but often I don't even think to look at their tree even when they have given me access (so maybe I haven't noticed?)! Merry |

You find that hot match. You are given access. You plug the name in..... and the link doesn't work! Anyone else finding this? |
