December quarter 1856 Hannah Elizabeth Lenton - I think the reference is Foleshill 6a 347? But after last night's fiasco I want to double check Anybody make the numbers out better than I can? Mark

I browsed the Birth index images for 1856 (actually looking for Ann Elizabeth Lenton! but think Hannah might be her.She's on Lenhan, Emma - Lenton, Mary Ann Mark

Just noticed - your heading says marriage index - one of your postings says birth What are we looking for !!! You´re not making it easy for us!!!!!

Jeanette, I can't find that one, but mine is definately in 1856 (I think!) Unless I'm going mad of course! I've just had another look at my image and it is certainly 6d which makes more sense, but still looks like 341 or 347 for the page. How did you find yours? Mark

Whoops! I've changed the header - it is birth. Sorry everybody. It is high time I stopped and did some real work. You know - the kind that earns money to pay for all these certificates! Mark

OK you are looking at births - not marriages !!!!! Image isn´t clear - have checke image on 1837 online - not clear either If you want to order the certificate then make a note on the checking reference that image is not clear and they will probably help you out and find the right one.

Too late Mark - changing heading after we have been sitting here doing the searching. Tut, tut!!!! Back to work for you - and sorry I couldn´t reply to your comment last night about dressmakers - had gone to bed - but saw that Merry explained alternative occupation!!!

i think its 6d 347 as other one from that area are 6d Jeanette

I think you might be right about 342 Elaine - the 7s have a pronounced flourish elsewhere on the page. Once again: thanks for looking (Back to work properly now) Mark
