Sarah R Brooks Edmonton 3a 650 AMJ quarter 1911 (you had 6 weeks to register a birth so it sometimes goes into the next quarter)

I've made contact with a fellow GR member Sue through 'Hot Matches' & we believe we are related. We have some of the same names in our trees, both families lived in the same areas and it even looks like there is a shared genetic disease in both branches of the family. However, we have different dates of birth for her Gt. Grandmother Sarah Brooks (my Gt. Grandfather's sister). My census records have her year of birth as 1857 and Sue maintains her birth year was 1866, a difference of 9 years. Apparently she was married 3 times (and out-lived all three husbands!) but nothing is known about the first two husbands. The Grandmother was the youngest child from the last marriage We thought we could solve this problem by getting a copy of her Grandmother's birth certificate but we cannot find her birth registered on the date given for her birth... Could someone else have a look? Her Grandmother's name was also Sarah Brooks and she was supposedly born on 8th March 1911 in Edmonton, North London. I've looked under Brook, Brooks, Brooke and Brookes but can't find anything. I've found it all quite difficult to make any sense of so hope someone can help!! Thanks
