Hi Sandra, I would just get the full membership, I look at the tips board every evening, and find out a lot of info. The members are really helpful. If you become addicted.... and you will, then you will thorourly enjoy The Genes site. Denise

Don't use it for anything before 1866 and after 1920 as that's all available for free via Ancestry (if you can't find it on FreeBMD etc) and you have to trawl just the same on Family relatives. The site is esp good for: Births 1911 Q3 - 1920 where you know the birth surname and the mum's maiden name. Marriages 1912 -1920 where you need to pick up the spouse surname Both the above save trawling. Also good for marriages 1866 - 1911 where you don't know the surname of the bride (only her first name from the census) and though you have found the groom transcribed by FreeBMD, not all the parties have yet been trascribed. You can find the bride using Marriage Match (I think it's called - That one is a bit pricey....I've only used it a couple of times!) Merry

Ooh and the overseas BMD's are FREE on Family relatives! (but you have to have registered and paid them something before you can use them (I think!) Merry
