Is this George's marriage? Marriages Jun 1889 -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Davies Frank Redfern Aston 6d 378 Johnson George Samuel Aston 6d 378 Lile Clara Aston 6d 378 WRIGHT Lizzie Aston 6d 378 Which is his bride? Have you found him after the marriage? I realise it's the father you are looking for, but I need to know where they all are and what details they gave, as I wouldn't necessarily look for William independently, unless you have the rest of the family and he is absent. I have to go out now..... Merry

Merry Report 10 Jul 2006 14:59

Lol!! On my tree one man is named as father on a birth cert, but he had been dead for 17 years!! Anyway, I'm sure your rellies are not as aft as mine, so.....please could you post the census details you do have? Merry

Janet

Janet Report 10 Jul 2006 14:58

Oh ok merry thank you......but i cant find any of them on the census...he was alive in 1884 cos he had another child then

Merry

Merry Report 10 Jul 2006 14:55

When you say you ''know'' he was alive.......do you mean because when his son got married it doesn't say ''father dec'd'' on the marriage cert?? If that's the case, take no notice!!! He could easily have been dead.......It was common that the question wasn't asked. Merry
