Hi Jennifer, thanks so much for taking the time out to help look, and that is very interesting info you gave me about servants. I didn't know this and it is an explaination as to why she cannot be found. Fuzzy x |

I have had no luck in finding her for you. No help to you, but it is just possible, if she was in service at the time, she may have been listed under a different name. It was not unknown for some employers to call a succession of servants by one name, it saved them the bother of having to remember names, particularly in larger households with a rapid turnover of staff. Just added that in Elaine, clever you working out the space!!! It took me an age to find them a few months back, now I try all sorts when looking on Ancestry!! I know it is not important for me to find Kate in 1891, but I just want to know where she was am so curious and I think it is odd when her husband is still at home and she not with her family. Thought she may be a servant somewhere, but I cant find her at all!! Fuzzy x |

I can't find her as Hogg or Mcgill in 1901 either. Only tried the Lambeth births, though. Did she stay in England? |
