I know some burial records do list the cause of death. Unusual I know, but the cemetery at York is one. My hubby got a huge list if his rellies in York from there all with cause of death too. Wouldn't it be nice if they all did that. The exception rather than the rule I'm afraid though. Margaret

Some in the church itself by the curator or warden. Also in the local records office.Rod

hi rod im not sure she didnt say and i was too excited at the time to ask lol she found me two children that i didnt know about so where would church records be kept? kirstiex

NBI contains the following information Date of Burial Name Age (sometimes!) Name of cemetry. - so she obviously sourced your information from somewhere else!

daft question i know but how much information is on the n.b.i? i had a wonderful lady this week do me a look up in a cem for a grave for me and she came back with all the information and what they all died from!!!! (there was no head stone) i wondered how she could have got this? can you find this kind of info from the local records office? i have yet to venture into one of these places!!! thanks in advance for your replies kirstie
