I have my great grandmother on the 1871, but I can't make out her brother's occupation. She is Mary J Brown (or Bruner according to the transcription!) and her brother is Richard Buron (Brown again I presume!) - his occupation is watch maker something. Name: Richard Buron Age: 20 Estimated birth year: abt 1851 Relation: Stepson Household: View other family members Gender: Male Where born: Coventry, Warwickshire, England Civil Parish: Foleshill Ecclesiastical parish: Foleshill St Lawrence County/Island: Warwickshire Country: England Street address: Occupation: Condition as to marriage: Disability: View image Source information: RG10/3172 Registration district: Foleshill Sub-registration district: Foleshill ED, institution, or vessel: 11 Folio: 53 Page: 9 (click to see others on page) Household schedule number: 48 GSU Number: 839243 Can anybody with better eyes (and/or a knowledge of watchmaking) make it out? Thanks Mark

Thanks Jess, but my Richard is further up that page - in fact I've misread it too. He is a watchmaker - it is his step-sister's occupation I couldn't make out - looks like Pivoteer? Mark
