Hi Has anyone dealt with Portsmouth Registrar's for BMD certificates, could they tell me how quick are they? Phoned them over a week ago and they told me to e-mail them with the marriage details ect, did it straight away and haven't a heard a thing. Not that it took me a long time to find this gr,uncle of mine and as you can imagine I was jumping for joy when i found him. Impatient Annie

I deal with them reguarly and they got swamped with requests after that dam television programme. They used to take requests over the phone but ask for it in writing now. The last one I ordered took just over a week, so hopefully yours won't be much longer. The staff are really helpful and I'm sure it's due to workload

just ordered my first ones from portsmouth, took just over a week to arrive . still waiting for my last one from southport ordered three weeks ago desp date 29.06.06 maureen
