I think the answer will be no, but if you don't ask you never know ... Does anyone have any credits for the Geneanet 'Search for an Old Act' area? I think there is a good chance my grandmother and her sister's birth is listed and my great grandparents marriage - but my French is pretty bad and it looks like the minimum charge is EUR 23.00 for 54 credits. I am keen not to waste money but can feel my credit card coming out soon ...! Has anyone used this 'service'? Is it worth it if you find a match? Thanks in advance!

I haven't used it yet (I'm afraid I'd loose all my credits by not understanding what I was doing) Is the name you are looking for unusual? Do you know which region they came from?

Hi Janet All Moselle region - the town of St Avold, I think. My grandmother was Emilie Kulick, born 1912. Her sister (less important to me) was Leonie, born a few years later. Their parents, my great grandparents, were Walter Kulick and Anna Baumstümler. I would imagine they were married in 1911 or sometime before (my gran was the eldest child, that I know of at any rate!) Use your credits on your tree and let me know how easy it is. Are your family a bit harder to track down? I don't mind (well, ...) paying for credits if it is easy ... Jo
