I am erring with the one i found with John as hubby and Wm Thorbon in the household. Thing is i can't be 100% if John and Rebecca are the parents to Elizabeth, though the 51 would suggest it to be.It just bothers me with the possibility that if Rebacca is mother to Elizabeth, she would have been 45 +/- 3 years or so.42 i can handle but 48 seems a bit much. Maybe i'm just wrapped up with this Thorbon name but it just seems to fit,and i wan't someone to say why it shouldn't. Glen

Hi Glen Ancestry is playing up at the moment, so I can't check just how many Rebecca Harrisons there are in Norfolk in 1841, but someone stating they were 55 in 1841 ought to be born between June 1781 and May 1786, so it looks as if you've found the right one, given the link with Heacham.

Then there is this one as well from the 41,possible because of John and Elizabeth as a possible daughter, but the dates are way off the other 41 and 51 results. Hi I know what you mean,i can't place Rebecca with John in the 1851.The 51 quoted says she is head, married, innkeeper, but where is hubby? The 41 quoted gives John Harrison as a farmer, and also in house hold is William Thorbon,a mariner b 1801 foreign parts. In 1851 (pre census night) Eliazabeth Martha Harrison married George Elmer, father quoted as John Harrison, innkeeper. Elizabeth went on to have several children with George Elmer, and they have the middle name Thorbon. I'm trying to find out why they used that name. There is an 1841 census for Elizabeth Martha Harrison, born Bircham abt 1828,in Cromer,at a pub, relation to the head an innkeeper! Glen
