The Arachnoid membrane is in the brain, in the sub-dural cavity............so in simple terms a brain haemorrhage, probably caused by the high BP. Reg

Hi, It should definitely say SUBarachnoid . This would be a stroke. Dea x It is a bleed within the brain.

hi fuzzy i looked up also, but nothing came up with that word what you could do is phone reg of deaths and ask them.at a gues does this mean some kind of bleed.did your nan have some kind of stroke.......sent by gwyneth

Am off to a wedding in a half hour and postman has just been.....should not have opened certificates, but did!!! my g gran died of anbarachnoid heamorrhage and also hypertension. I know hypertension is high blood pressure and I have looked up the former on a site that little nell gave me, but it is not there any ideas anyone? Fuzz x
